Letter to the Editor, Mailed January 24, 2010.
As a candidate for Village Trustee in Montgomery I've been walking neighborhoods and talking to residents. One comment I hear often is that the snow plow crews have been doing a great job of keeping our streets clear and safe. I'd been thinking the same thing, so I thought why not commend their great work publicly in the form of a letter to the editor.
The crews are maintaining more than 150 blade miles of street in Montgomery now, and with fewer employees than previous years. So those who are getting the job done are doing so with very long days and nights.
Thank you Montgomery snow removal team. Our streets have been great this year and your efforts have been noticed by many.
