Hard to believe it has been more than a decade since September 11, 2001. It is important to continue to be proud of the bravery and determination shown that day, and to always pay tribute to the heroism of our first responders and patriotic citizens who gave so much. September 11th fell on a Sunday this year and Montgomery organized a short, but powerful tribute. It was my great pleasure to be part of that effort. Our police, fire and EMS were front and center stage and made a great display of remembrance and tribute. To them, for this day and every day, we say "Thank You."
