Chilifest Brings Neighbors Together.

Annual Chilifest Event brings neighborhood together, raises donations for Neighborhood Watch. The 5th Annual Chilifest, sponsored for residents of Fairfield Way/Foxmoor in Montgomery IL by Stan Bond and friends, raised needed funds for the development's fledgling Neighborhood Watch program and awarded 1st, 2nd and 3rd place prizes to aspiring Chili Chefs.

More than 100 people participated. We raised $72 net and donated the entire amount to Neighborhood Watch of Fairfield Way | Foxmoor in Montgomery, IL.

Some mighty tasty chili dishes were served, including some variations you probably never tried before.

This year's Chilifest, the 6th annual, is set for October 9th. You are welcome to attend, meet your candidate, meet some neighbors! Be there, or be square...

Follow Up: This year's Chilifest raised $54 for Neighborhood Watch. 1st Place to Sheila & Mel, 2nd to Kim Bonafede, 3rd to Janice & Sam Burns, 4th to Jeremy Berger. Congrats all you great cooks! What a huge bunch of snacks, chilis and desserts we had! Thanks to the Montgomery Police and Sugar Grove Fire Department for coming to entertain the kids (young and old).
