Co-Chair Montgomery Beautification Committee

Mission: To positively impact the beauty of the community and enhance cultural opportunities for the Village of Montgomery through plantings, gardens, enhancement of natural habitats, and encouragement of the arts through volunteer efforts.

Beautification Committee Activities Include:
Montgomery Mill Street Bridge Flower Boxes & Evening Lights
Flower Plantings, Flower Basket Plantings, and Flower Gardens
Commemorative Hanging Banner Signs
Decorative Flower Pot Planters
Flower Bed Plantings and Maintenance Around Montgomery Entryway Signs/Monuments
Development of New Gateway Monument/Flower Garden (Route 31 & Webster)
Flower Power Fund Raising Program
Natural Habitat Projects (Bluebird Houses, Butterfly Houses, Fishing Habitats
River, Water Basin & Roadway Clean-ups
Art & Culture Programs to Display School Art and Community Talent in Village Hall
Holiday Decoration Awards and Recognition Program
Garden & Landscaping Awards and Recognition Program

Co-Chair Montgomery Finance Committee

The Finance Commmittee shall review, evaluate and make recommendations to the Corporate Authorities on matters pertaining to the financial operation and financial reporting of the Village regarding fiscal position, annual budget, audit procedures, water and sewer service and other matters.

Member, Montgomery Development Committee

The Development Committee shall consider and make recommendations to the Corporate Authorities regarding development, resources, downtown redevelopment, tax increment financing districts and other matters.

Member, Montgomery Intergovernmental and Community Committee

The Intergovernmental and Community Committee shall consider and make recommendations to the Corporate Authorities regarding Community Liaison, Montgomery Fest and Other Matters.
